Cerebral Sounds provides a space for contemporary musicians to air their work without commercial obligations - a kind of gallery of sounds. The site is open to all professional musicians and particularly welcomes those artists who have worked commercially and are looking to explore new directions and experiment with alternative formats.

Composer Patrick Nunn has been described as “…one of the most talented composers to have emerged in recent years” (Peter Reynolds, PM Ensemble). His music is extremely diverse and is reflected in the types of projects that he has been involved with.
He has received commissions from a wide range of musicians and ensembles including Icebreaker, The Gogmagogs, Piano Circus, The New London Children’s Choir, Sub Divo and Charlie Barber & Band to name just a few.

Deaf Fret hosts an Acoustic Evening at The Village in Muswell Hill on a monthly basis.The guiding principle of the evening is to provide an intimate and respectful environment for the wealth of local talent to demonstrate and develop their sound, songs and stagecraft. At the same time - and just as importantly - it is Deaf Fret's aim to finally provide a sophisticated evening for the discerning audience that is found amongst the local residents.
